Cooling section

The solution for fast strength in back panel connections

The cooling section of the back panel folding system (LINK: Rückwandfalten) has the function of quickly establishing the initial strength of the PUR adhesive. This ensures that further processing steps can be carried out without the back panel pieces breaking apart.

Machining process on the cooling section

In this process, the room air is applied to the adhesive joint by means of a nozzle pipe. This is achieved by an integrated compressor. Alternatively, depending on the climate and location, an air-conditioning unit can also be added to the system, thus solidifying the adhesive with cooled room air. During this cooling process, the back panels are constantly pressed together by an upper pressure belt - for secure cohesion of the two back panel parts.

The cooling section of the Lehbrink back panel folding system is usually eight meters long, but can be individually adapted according to requirements.
